Hi there, I have a Olympia CM70 cash register and I dont have a key for the cash draw and it is locked.I How do I get a key made for it? I only have the keys for the actual til Thank You Leigh-Anne

Hi. You can't get keys cut as there are no blanks for cash registers. You just buy one from a dealer or you can unscrew the bottom from the drawer and remove the tray, then bend the lock tab so it never locks again.

The letter F come up on screen and draw not opening

If the F is at the left then it just means finalised or sale finished. This means the sale was completed normally. The drawer is probably not opening because that model had a factory fault where the back of the tray cut through the drawer wiring. If you take the tray out and check the two white wires inside, you may find one of them has a small cut in it. If so, it usually blows the drawer circuit and it will need a technician to fix it. There was a recall on them for this problem so check with a dealer as they may still do it for free. Great machine but this factory fault was a pain.

The letter F is coming up and draw not opening

Hi. Common problem. Sharp had a manufacturing defect in the drawer. The two white wires were not dressed behind the tray. The tray comes back and cuts through the wires over time. This causes the drawer drive circuit to short out. Sharp may still be covering this problem so check with a local dealer (The F means finalised or sale finished, so the drawer should open at that time). Great model but shame they got this wrong. Usually not too bad to fix but needs a tech.

Hi Cash register ex-a301 when I press TL/NS machine don't open draw (no click sound nothing) I need to open it menul (from bottom) so I leave draw open and do all day wark Any help PLZ

This is a common problem.
Firstly, try printing a daily report. If it still does not open, it probably has the factory fault. Sharp incorrectly dressed the solenoid wires in the drawer and they are cut by the drawer tray as it closes. There was a large warranty recall. Have it checked by a technician.

I have a Minolta ep4000 copier. The bottom letter tray platform where the paper sits on is stuck in a high position. The copier will not allow that tray to feed paper. I tried to turn the machine on and...

With the draw closed and the machine on is there a small wrench Icon on the control panel lower left. If so touch it screen will change then once on new screen open close the front door, see if that resets your draw electrical.

Cash draw wont close casio electronic cash register 160cr-b

Most common reason is the plastic pin that holds the latch in the back of the drawer has come out. You can usually press it back in to fix it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The $ bill lever broke on my Alpha 601SC cash register

Hi.
You will need to find a dealer in your area. The bill holders are usually very cheap to replace and you can just fit it yourself. Look up a dealer under cash registers in the yellow pages. Many brands usually have interchangeable holders, so you might be able to use say a Casio one if they are the only dealers in your area.
