Question about Apple Composite A/V Cable for iPod (MB129LL/A)
I have a similar issue and contacted Apple about it. My wife's iPod Nano plays video just fine. Apple had me check a couple of the TV settings on the iPOD - make sure you have it as NTSC.
We reinstalled all the software (using Restore option in iTunes). It turns out the issue might be with the input jack at the bottom of the iPOD. I am taking it to Apple store tomorrow to see if they can resolve it.
I have the exact same problem, having previously tried the component cables. I called tech support who stated that my ipod classic must have some sort of hardware malfunction when otherwise fully functional. I can get sound through the RCA cables, but no video. What gives?
