If Abracadata is out of business, as it looks like they are, then probably not. Your best bet is to purchase a different software package designed for Mac OS X.
The Macintosh Classic environment will NOT run on Intel based macs. I am assuming your new mac is Intel. I actually keep a couple older macs around at work to run legacy software that isn't supported anymore, or is too expensive to upgrade.

I have amy old Theatrix Hollywood from 1995, but how do I get it to run on my new MAC running OS X?

I think that Theatrix Holywood was written for Mac OS 9 and given that classic support on OS X was discontinued a few years ago you are going to be out of luck. Unless you can find an older mac to play it on or use something an os 9 emulator see http://emaculation.com/doku.php/sheepshaver.

Hi, I'm receiving this message when I try to install Numbers undercover on our Mac... You can't open the application Numbers Undercover Installer because the Classic environment is no longer supported.

You must be running OS X as opposed to OS 9. Unfortunately later version of OS X do not support classic applications. According to the Sunburst website they do not support OS X which is strange as OS 9 was discontinued in Macs probably for the last 7 years. Sorry.

I have the 8 disc set (mac version) purchased in the year 2000 working with OSX 9. Now I have a new mac with snow leopard version OSX 10. I would like to use the disc's with the new computer, what do I do?

Unfortunately the software will not work with OSX. OS9 (also refered to as classic os) had some compatibility with macs up to 2005 when Apple changed the processors in macs to Intel. Since then all OS9 software no longer works.
There is a small chance you may be able to browse/search the CD's folders for images as the photo objects may be in jpg/gif/png format. Try opening finder, select the CD. and search with the text box in the upper right corner in Finder.

Loading into a Mac, says "Classic environment no longer supported"

The program you are trying to load was designed for System 9. The new MAC's will not run both systems. If you can get an upgrade for the product make sure you check the System Requirements. The only other way is to run the software on an older MAC that supports System 9

Wont install on Mac i use leopard and it states it needs classic envinroment

"In any case, you will not be able to use the Classic Environment in any OS with your MacBook Pro. The Classic Environment functions only on PowerPC-based Macs, of which the MacBook Pro (and all other currently sold Macs) is not. Mac OS 9 was never designed for Intel Macs, and cannot run on them without full PowerPC hardware emulation."

Hope it helps

Lg ge20 and mac notebook

Is it compatible with OS 9 or OS X? If you have OS X and your disc is for OS 9 it won't work unless you have Classic installed and running. But it doesn't sound like you have Classic because I believe it would have tried to install in there by now on it's own. So when software says it is Mac compatible I always check further to see if it works with OS 9 or OS X.

Mac Media Player

Any of the following are good:
QuickTime with Perian
Real Player 10 for Mac OS
Windows Media Player for Mac OS X 9.0If you don't have Mac OS X, get the Windows Media Player for Mac 7.1 which runs on the Macintosh Classic OS.

VLC media player for Mac OS X
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. – I would greatly appreciate a FixYa! rating if the solution I provided fixed or helped you fix your problem.

I would have to try to recreate this problem on a mac at work that still has classic on it, but the short answer/question I have is, have you tried saving it as a .eps file instead of an AI file?
