SOURCE: amp not working
1. Did you witness this amp ever working if not then you may have a blown amp. Hook up the speakers, get a portable player with a head phone jack get one of those cables with a headphone plug on one end and RCA's on the other plug the portable player into the amp and hit play. If sound comes out then your problems are elsewhere. If not I'm afraid your amp is probably toast. If the OHM rating of the speakers are too low for the amp then the amp will go into protect. This will be indicated by the protect LED lighting up or the power led changing color from say green to red.

If the amp goes into protect mode, it's likely due to shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible problems, read through the following page:
Amp in Protect Mode - Troubleshooting
If the problems are not with the wiring, follow the link at the bottom of the page to the Amplifier Repair Primer page.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
SOURCE: amp won't turn back on, all fuses fine, all connections good
that sounds like the amp might have a bad ground.
SOURCE: I have a 2600 watt Power Acoustik Gothic Amplifier
look at the speakers, is one jumping out and the other drawing in? If so try this. Hook one speaker up normally, reverse the polarity on th other. Hook it opposite how you hooked the other up. This won't hurt a thing but it may cure the problem. Sometimes the amps get wired up backwards inside. I know for a fact that fosgate does cause mine was.
