Question about Dryers
My Amana dryer model number LE7153WM does not produce heat to dry clothes. It was working fine a couple days ago. I checked the variable temp control knob and it is set to med-high moved it to high but no heat. What do I check next?
The thermal fuse and the heating element would be the likely suspects. Both can be checked with an ohm meter. If there is no continuity, it indicates a defective component. Neither is repairable and if either component is bad, it will have to be replaced. Hope this helped. Good luck.
