if you want actual help you need to post several important things, one being the actual name of the player, two being the type [i.e. apple 5th gen ipod, ipod touch, ipod shuffle etc.] and your operating system. seeing as the little information posted is in a way valuable the only thing i can say is possibly the player doesnt support the files. sorry =[
once u plug in ipod via USB just let it sit and open itunes, u should put ur songs in itunes before connecting ipod, auntomatically it should start importing songs from itunes to ipod and should show u on top of itunes
- if any trouble talk to apple or any electrogeek
Try opening iTunes to see if it recognizes anything first. More importantly set it to disk mode on the main iPod options screen. Remove any songs from the iPod through disk mode into a new folder, (you wont be able to tell as Apple renames and rearranges everything, but you id3 tags should still be recognized when you import after your iPod is fized)Restore your iPod with iTunes. Those are the steps I'd take first. If that works, just re-import those songs into the iTunes library then over to you iPod
