check for failing wheel bearing or steering rod end

Not familiar with your vehicle, but it sound as if you need to change out the ignition switch, not the key tumblers or lock cylinder, but the electric switch mounted to the bottom of the lock cylinder.

run fault codes and check immobiliser operation

Check fuel pressure maybe fuel pump

NEED TO CHECK WITH A MACANICAL GAUGE AND CHECK OIL SENSOR

Hot or cold? 2005? CODES.
OBD plug under dash.
Check for codes.Google the codes. That's JUST a beginning,here.
IAC or cold start valve? NOT on a 2005.

fiat punto ,1.2 its a valve free engine so it will not bash the valves ,the bottom pulley mark points at teh top ,you will seea corresponding mark and the cam is top left hand side ,you will see another coresponding mark their for the cam on the ally rocker cover
