The ambient temperature is the temperature of the air in the space around your compressor. If the "room" temperature is too high it will damage the compressor over time. The fix, if this is an actual indoor room would be air conditioning or fans. Outdoors, it can be just too hot to safely and continuously run your compressor.

2012 traverse, air conditioner kicking off temperture is hot ,went to auto zone and they put on computer . no codes showed up any help

May be pressure related. They have a pressure sensor that stops the compressor if the pressure gets high. People sometimes make the mistake of adding too much when messing with the AC. Get a qualified mechanic that can work on AC and check the pressure to inspect it.

The frame around the doors are burning hot

It is normal when the compressor is on.As it prevents condensation at the sides. It depends to the ambient temperture and the warm load inside the this will lead to higher run times means hot gas is flowing around the corners.

2001 f150 5.4l 4x4. Compressor constantly kicks on

yes more than likely your truck is low on 134 but to get the right amount it needs to be sucked out and recharded but i just use a set of a c gauges and kind of guess on the pressures depending on temperture out side. and temperture of the trucks air at the vents the parts stores sell a recharge can with a gauge they can be used also. now just go to the pump and follow the lines and you will find a cap (red or blue ) you want the blue one that is were u can safely charge if there is no caps you will find a couple of nipples you want the one that is greater in diameter.

Both switches are simple on/off, so you can test with an ohmmeter or just bypass with a paper clip. See your diagram at the link below.
