How do you turn the ringer on/off on aatt 993 2 line phone

If you mean the AT&T 993 two-line speakerphone, you can adjust the ringer volume for each line when the phone is not in use. To increase the ringer volume on the primary line (if set), press the Volume Up arrow. To decrease the ringer volume, press the down arrow. There are 8 different volume levels available for the ringer. The Volume Up/Down buttons are below the * and 0 keys.

To adjust the ringer volume on the secondary line, press that line button (between the Conference and Hold buttons) and then press the Volume Up or Down buttons as needed. (If you haven't programmed a primary line, press a Line button and adjust that line's ring volume before pressing the other Line button. Then adjust the volume for that Line.)

I hope this helps. These directions are shown on page 32 of the manual. AT&T currently has the manual here : https://att.vtp-media.com/ecp/documents/product_Product/227/UserManual/5596/993_manual_i14.pdf . To find this manual or other AT&T phone manuals, start here: https://telephones.att.com/product-support/manuals .

Please advise as to how to increase the VOLUME on my DECT 6.0 phone.

To adjust the ringer volume:
  1. With the phone in standby, press ^ or v. The display shows the current volume level and the handset sounds the ringer at that level.
  2. Use ^ to make the ringer volume louder or use v to make it softer or turn it off completely.
  3. When you hear the ringer volume level you want to use, stop pressing keys. The handset will use the new ringer volume starting with the next incoming call.
Note: If you set the ringer volume to Off, the handset won't ring. If you have any accessory handsets, other handsets will ring according to their individual settings.

To adjust the earpiece volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset earpiece. To adjust the earpiece volume while on a call, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the earpiece.

To adjust the speaker volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset speaker while on a speakerphone call. To adjust the handset speaker volume, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the handset speaker.

Note: The handset earpiece and the handset speaker have separate volume settings.

I cant turn up the volume on the second cordless phone. how is this done/

Do you want to turn up the ringer volume or the call volume?
To adjust the volume of the ringer press the UP or DOWN arrow on the pad to bring up the main menu. Move to the 'Handset setup' icon and press OK. Select 'Ringer Setup' and press OK. Now select 'Ringer Volume' and OK. (At this point if you have 2 incoming lines you will need to select the correct line). The display will now show the volume, use the UP and DOWN arrows to adjust the volume. When finished press the OK button, then press the CALL END button to return to the main screen.
Adjusting the call volume is easier. When you are on a call use the UP and DOWN arrows to alter the volume.
I hope this helps.
