I have had entered my own security code, but i forgot

You might have forget your password
you can reset your password by using these three options
1. reset your password using alternate email id
2. reset your password using security questions
3. reset your password using your phone number

What is your mobile and model ?
If you forgot the security code you have to reset you mobile.......... Its the only way to use your mobile again. After resetting you can enter a new security code again.

click sign in;

click i cannot access my account;

click forgot password,

click next

Enter in your email address, the security code and try to reset your password.

Then try and sign in again. This will bypass your security questions if you hit the enter alternate email option instead.

The default security code is 12345 if you have changed the security code before then you need to service the phone in any mobile service center to flash it. The phone accepts Security code after 15 mins every time when you enter the wrong Security code.So keep trying to remember the security code or service it.

If you forgot the security code try entering this code:
1809#*500#

You should be able to reset your LG 8500's lock code back to the last 4 digits of your wireless number by doing this:

Hit *22899 send (if this doesn't work, try *228 send, choose option #1) to re-program your phone.

Doing this will re-program your phone, and reset the default code. Once you hear the "your phone has been programed successfully" message, select OK. Your 8500 should go off and then back on again. ....... Now you can hit unlock, and enter the last 4 digits of your wireless number.

hi the code you have got is the correct code for that imei number check your imei number is corect as that code is the one for that imei number.
Also this code only works if the phone is locked and asks for the security code when you switch it on if you can acess the phone then this code dont work it will only work if the phone is locked.
Also if the master code has been entered to many times or wrong code entered then the only way to unlock is by flashing the phone using software and flash lead
