Why does machine not always spin dry?

One of the most common causes of machines not spinning is because the water has not been fully drained (pumped out)
Check that the pump is not blocked as well as the hose not blocked or kinked. There may be detritus in the button trap which is partially blocking and slowing the drain flow.
If you put the machine on 'Drain and Spin' for a second time it may spin. This would indicate that the pump is not emptying the machine quickly enough on the first attempt due to a partial blockage.
Good luck

What dose e5 mean on my dishwasher

Hello tom.... e5 is a drain error - machine is not draining - check drain hoses. If your trap under the sink is blocked, or even if your garbage disposal is blocked, interfering with the proper draining of the machine, you will get this error.

Another cause is often a blockage or a partial blockage somewhere between the machine's drain pump and the sink trap. To check this remove the lower front panel on the machine [usually just 4 phillips head screws need to be removed], and then disassembe the drain hose from the pump in the lower front of the machine. Also unscrew the pump from the frame and physically check it for debris, sometimes even a chunk of glass or bone.

Once you locate and remove the blockage, and reassemble everything, the machine should work once again. Joe

Thanks for choosing Fixya!

MACHINE STICKS WHEN SPIN PROGRAMME REACHED

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the correct type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum isn't getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from your house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if the block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your filter is clean.

My classixx has stopped spinning and draining water.I have already checked the pump. Its clear.

If it is not draining the water, then either the pump is faulty, or there is a blockage in the outlet hose from the pump, or possibly a blockage in the hose from the drum to the pump.

NOT SPINNING OUT DRY ENOUGH

There is a partial blockage in the drain line. You need to remove the pump and check for obstruction at the impellers. If clear, check the pipes from the drain motor back to the drum and to the pipe outlet for partial blocking.

Bad smell coming from washing machine

It probably is related to your drain outlet, depending on the set-up, I would suggest you remove drain hose and clean the place where the drain hose enters the drain system, if possible, clean all associated pipework

Thanks.

are you using liquid detergent? if so, change to powder
is there a water barrier in the drain? if not, you are getting the smell from your drains

Bosch Classixx 1000: Won't drain

The Solution: Top up the softener tray with extra water so that it is up to the 'max level' mark.

The softener tray works by a siphon action. Thus, the reason the tray does not empty is that not enough water is added by the machine during the softening cycle, so that the machine does not completely fill the softening tray; only when the softening tray is filled beyond the 'max' mark does the siphon action works. A partially filled tray will never empty - it's impossible due to the siphon.

The reason that not enough water is added to the tray during the softening action is that the water inlet of the machine is partial blocked (you can try to fix that) but it is simpler to just added more water to the conditioner tray.

Thus, the easiest way to ensure that the softener tray empties every time (after adding the softener to the softener tray of course) is to top up the softener tray with extra water, top it up to the 'max level' line (keep a bottle of water by the machine). That way, even if only a little water is added to the softener tray during the softening cycle by the machine it is enough to trigger the siphon action and the tray will empty!

Works for me every time, and no need to remove any parts - I used to take the tray out, clean it, scrub the outlet holes that fill the tray etc, but they used to gum up again quite quickly!

Hope that helps
