Have water leak somewhere be hind toilet
Water leaks from toilets are common on the seal behind the pan. Have a look where the pipe runs from the cistern to the back of the pan. There is a rubber flange gasket which fits over the spout on the back of the pan. These are common to split. The toilet will leak normally when you flush it. After flushing, the leak stops.
Thanks Steve for the info ,re leaking caravan toilet. The seal you mention is most likely the problem ,but I don't know how to remove the plastic cover over the cisten
Hi Norman, sorry, I have had trouble signing in. Have a look down the sides of the toilet for screws etc or under the back of the seat may be a couple of thumb screws / nuts which lift the seat off and allow access to the rear of the pan. I wasn't aware it was a caravan toilet so I imagine they may be quiet different to a normal toilet but cistern pipe to pan should be pretty much the same.
