If the LCD screen on your ASKO T761 clothes dryer is displaying a checkerboard of black squares, it could indicate an issue with the screen itself or the control board that manages the display. Here are a few possible causes and solutions:
Faulty LCD screen: The LCD screen may be damaged or malfunctioning, causing it to display the checkerboard pattern. In this case, you may need to replace the screen.
Control board issue: The control board is responsible for managing the functions of the dryer, including the display. If it is malfunctioning, it may cause the LCD screen to display the checkerboard pattern. In this case, you may need to replace the control board.
Loose connection: The connection between the LCD screen and the control board may be loose or disconnected. Make sure all connections are securely plugged in.
Software issue: If the issue is with the software, a firmware update or reinstalling the software may fix the problem.
Hello, If it is like just about all asko dryers all the wires are brown and the only way to tell where they go is look on end of wire at terminal and the wire will be marked with a number and the number is on the wiring diagram and shows where each number goes. All other manufactures uses a rainbow of colors but ASKO loves brown wires
The basic wiring, of the plug, is in the user manual, but I could not locate an actual total wiring diagram. In the user manual, at the end, is a list of addresses for the comany, that may be your best approach. Here is the website for the manuals if you have lost yours. http://www.askousa.com/customer-care/technical_documentation/
