Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
When i turn on my Dell latitudeD620 laptop the screen lights up, but stays black. after a little bit of waiting i type my password in i hear the sound it makes when it logs in but still the screen remains blank. it seams everything is working fine. i just can't see
It has one of following 3 problems:-
faulty vga cerciut of motherboard.
faulty screen (need change)
faulty screen fl inverter cercuit( need change)

When you power up the computer press F8 key then if you cna see safe mode and other menu then your computer is ok only screen resolution issue for that enter in enable vga mode.
then go to control panel and then dispaly then settings then changfe screen resolution to 1024*768
then if you can't see safe mode and other menu then you have reset your bios
For that you need to reset factory defaults settings for bios.
For reset bios u have to open back side of your laptop then u find motherbord circuit there.
pull cmos cell on motherbord for 15 minute then it reset to defaults.
Also u can reset with jumper settigns read carefully on mother bord there is 1 jumper near cmos cell u read there " bios reset or clear"
It is on 1-2 position right now set it in 2-3 position then power up then all bios settings are reset.
then again set it in 1-2 its original position.
