Having instructed the copier to print 10 copies it stops after 3, paper only halfway fed out. On opening the machine up another paper is fed under the printing bar. A warning light flashes - looks like a number eight i.e. 8, with a jagger'd saw-tooth projecting out of it. We don't have the user manuel anymore, which I'm sure would clear up the problem as I would like to know what the warning light is trying to convey?!
Serial no: F126300. Canon PC-11?!
The paper feed system is worn (rollers, and separation pad). What is happening, is extra sheets are being fed into the machine primarily because the separation unit is not doing it's job properly. So rather than just one page at a time being fed, it is allowing an extra sheet to "creep" in intermittently, causing the jam. And the indicator you are seeing is the "jam" indicator.

Hi Check through the paper paths for any obstructions. Remove stuck papers and make sure the paper feed tray is not filled to capacity. Clear any print queues. Disconnect the printer from power and re-connect again. Turn it on and try printing now.
it is only happned when you takes only photocopy ? or Printing... The same will be affect while printing and copying may be the problem related to Laser Supply unit, open the LSU and clean the LSU mirror with a cotton waste. Your issues must be solve.... before that pls. check your cartridge unit...
The Canon PC1061 never had a memory so I can only suspect that you have a component failure. Now try this. Place a brand new package of paper into your photocopier's paper tray. Now also lay one blank sheet of paper on the glass and run 10 copies of it. If you notice that the image that you saw before is getting lighter and lighter then most likely you just need to replace the drum unit (drum cartridge).
Place the original on the glass.
1) Open the document cover and place your original face-down on the glass, in the upper left corner. Move your original about 1/10 inch away from the top and left edges so all of it will be copied.
2) Close the cover gently so you don't move the original .
Caution : Never open the document beyond where it stops and do not place heavy objects on top of the CX4600.
If you need to copy or scan a thick or large document, you can remove the document cover. Just open it and pull it straight up.
If you need to press the document flat while you copy or scan it, do not press too hard and be careful not to move it.
Caution : Do not use excessive force on the document cover, and do not twist it diagonally. You may damage the document cover.
When you are done, replace the document cover by inserting the tabs back into the slots.
Copying a document.
1) Load paper.
2) Press copy button until you see the desired number of copiesin the Copy window You can select up to 9 copies at a time.
3) Press the paper type button to select PLain Paper. The light indicates which type is selected.
4) Press the paper size button to select Letter.
5) If you want your copies automatically reduced or enlarged to fit the loaded paper size, press the Fit to Page button.
6) To make color copy, press the Start Color button
To make black and white copy, press Start B&W button.
The ON light flashes and after a moment the CX4600 starts printing.
If you need to stop copying at any time, just press the Stop button. Do no pull out paper that is printing, it will eject automatically to the output tray.
Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Have a good day.

check the paper in the tray whether they are of correct size,
change the paper size from computer,
or call your tech service rep it may be due to usb cable or faulty network cable,
or it may be the problem of main communication board of photocopier machine.
