I have a polaris 500 atv after sitting for a couple of days the left front wheel acts like it is locked up. I can back up a few times and then it releases. I cant tell if it is the break or the hub

As it is a atv i expect the brake is binding try removing the brake calliper and checking the brake piston for rust or dirt, gently clean with brass brush dont damage the rubber seal though . Allso try removing the calliper before leaving atv if it sticks with calliper removed may be dodgy bearing in hub.

Cant unlock steering wheel to start car

I would chalk that up to old age and wear and tear. I expect that when you take the steering column apart you will find a lot of play in the linkage between the ignition and the lock. These will probably be dealer only items to replace unless you can find them in a scrap yard. It will probably be easiest just to remove the lock mechanism and leave it that way. Just make sure that everything else works before you put the column back together. You may also be able to shim out the play with some time and patience if you can't find parts. Copper and brass work the best. Hope this helps.

How do I replace a front wheel hub on a 03 Suburban 4X2?

remove wheel. remove brake caliper. remove rotor. diconnect abs wheel speed sensor connector follow black coated wire and remove it from its clips. remove 36 mm nut from axle shaft and make sure its free do not hit end of shaft with hammer as it can damage threads. use brass punch or cover with block of wood. next remove the three or four 15mm bolts from back side of hub and beat till it comes off carefull not to damage backing plate. reverse to install making sxure to clean rust out of hib before you install

Changing a keyswitch

You need a steering wheel puller tool.Another way is to put the nut back on the shaft(so as not to damage the threads),prop your knees against the steering wheel using blocks at your feet, apply as much pressure as you can on the wheel pushing it towards you & then tap the center shaft with a BRASS hammer.Careful not to hurt the threads.Good luck,

2003 trailblazer lt 4wheel drive

  1. Remove the tire and wheel center cap.
  2. Remove the drive axle nut.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel. .
  4. Remove the brake rotor.
  5. Disengage the wheel drive shaft from the wheel hub and bearing. Place a brass drift against the outer end of the wheel drive shaft in order to protect the wheel drive shaft threads. Sharply strike the brass drift with the hammer. Do not attempt to remove the wheel drive shaft from the wheel hub and bearing at this time.
  6. Remove the wheel hub and bearing from the steering knuckle by removing the three bolts coming in from the back side of the knuckle.
Of course you may have to use a hammer to loosen the bearing from the knuckle.

Good Luck
