I don't know if it just me, but when doing these questions, I always think about PIZZA.

You have one pizza divided into 5 equal pieces, and 3 are gone, leaving 2. The other pizza is divided into 8 equal pieces and only 1 piece is left.

You have the pizza cutter in your hand. How many pieces do you have to cut each pizza into to be able to describe how much pizza you have in total?

In this case, you would have to cut each pizza into 40 pieces. To determine that it is 40, we do the multiples of 5, being 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, etc. We also do the multiples of 8, being 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48. What is the first number that is common to both lists? In this case, it is 40.

Since we have to multiply the 5 by 8 to get 40, we have to multiply the 2 by 8 to get the numerator. We have to do the same with 1/8.

I interpreted the question as:

(x-2)/(4-x) + 2/3 = (x-2)/12 or

(x-2) 2 (x-2)

------ + --- = -----

(4-x) 3 12

Now to find a common denominator.

I factor all the terms and see what is common, so it can be eliminated to leave the lowest common denominator.

(4 - x) - prime - cannot be factored

3 - prime - cannot be factored

12 - 4 x 3

What is common in the above? The 3, so we can eliminate one 3.

Common denominator - (4 -x) (3)(4)

So, we must multiply the numerator and denominator of the first term by 12 (3 x 4).

The next term's numerator and denominator must be multiplied by 4(4-x).

The term on the right of the equals sign must have the numerator and denominator multiplied by (4-x).

Do a prime factorization of the two numbers. Use condensed (power) notation for each prime factor.

Example

N1=(2^5)*(3^4)*(7^2)(11^3)

I assume this is (1 / (1-x)) - (1 / x) ....now first, this

= (x - (1-x)) / (x (1-x))

= (2x - 1) / (x - x^2) which is your question, and this

= 1/2 so

2 (2x - 1) = x - x^2

4x - 2 = x - x^2

x^2 + 3x - 2 = 0

I assume this is (1 / (1-x)) - (1 / x) ....now first, this

= (x - (1-x)) / (x (1-x))

= (2x - 1) / (x - x^2) which is your question, and this

= 1/2 so

2 (2x - 1) = x - x^2

4x - 2 = x - x^2

x^2 + 3x - 2 = 0

Hello,

The 3 wires comprise 2 circuits..one for the motor circuit and the second circuit for the drum light..too check it their will be one wire by itself it will be common when the door is closed the common and one of the other 2 wires will have a circuit and when door is open the common and the wires that didnt have a curcuit before will have contunuty

while i know all 3 wires are white the one byitself will be common and of of the other 2 will be marked NO and the other marked NC

when door is closed the circuit should be on the COMMON &NO wire

when door open the circuit should be COMMON& NC

but in addation the door switch the most common part bad when dryer doesnt start will be the thermal fuse..it will be in the blower/lint filter housing and only have 2 wires (both blue i believe) and have contunuty at all times if good and a open circuit if bad
