Last night I was going to plug in my tablet in to charge it and it slid out of the case and hit the floor and shattered the screen. can it be fixed? Is it under warranty?

Call the company you have the warranty with and ask them if the warranty covers accidental damage. If not ask for help on replacing the screen. Good Luck!

Won't turn on

Dealing with overseas tech support people can be frustrating. If the laptop is only a few days old, you really need to contact them first.

Im sure its still covered under warranty, so start there first.
If it wont boot, it could be a number of things.
If you get no where with them, please post back and someone here will try to help.

Fell off a desk, Im using it right now but cant see on right third of screen. I can see the crack though.

I believe your monitor is broken. If you provide the make and when you purchased it I can see if it is still under manufacturer warranty.

Please leave feedback for this answer, thanks.

Toshiba, broken screen

If the screen is physically broken (cracked) it's usually NOT covered under the warranty.

You can check your coverage HERE.

Broken Screen

Contact Acer directly. If it's a Model One, that means it cannot be too old, and should be under warranty still.

So give them a call, or email them from their site, but don't wait too long to ask them for help.

The screen is the most expensive part on a laptop, so you want to get them to fix it while it is still covered, rather than wait so long that they no longer cover this for you.

Vizio tv made a loud pop and no screen appears now. can this be repaired

Could be your power supply... sounds like something you may want to call Vizio about. Is it still under warranty? Im sure it can be repaired. If it has passed its warranty you could always pull the rear cover off and check for that wonderful burnt electronics smell.

Cracked HP Laptop Screen

Cracked displays are never coverd by normal warranty. Unless HP is aware of an issue on your model where this happens by itself, the service will not be coverd by warranty. You might want to check if you have any insurance that might cover it.

The LCD can be replaced, althogh it is usually quite costly(depending on the model). You can either send it in for service or do it yourself. If you dont have any experience with opening laptops I would recommend you send it in for service because of the weak plastic in the displayassembly that brake easily.

If you do want to replace it yourselfe I can find you the partnumber for the part. But im going to need the modelnumber from under the machine. It should look something like this AA111BB#CCC.

Broken screen

First off, with most warranties, they will not cover user damage, such as the cracked screen. If they do, they are going to have you send it in for repair. So, most likely you will be without your laptop, until you get home, unless you can get a shipping address where you are. You will need to contact the service site in order to find out.
