You can try to use a other usb port on you computer or try a other computer. It is posible that you have a broken cable so try a other one :) and a last tip: reset you iPod :) put hold on and off en push menu and the select button for 10 sec.

Power cells may not charge if the external power adapter has been damaged by a power surge. Try another adapter a see if that helps any. If not the internal storage is unable to accept a charge.

Ipod Touch 8G does not have any power. It is fully charged

How do you know it is accepting the charge?
Try a reset? Hold down the sleep and home buttons until the white apple appears on the screen.
Try a different charger (OEM connector to a computer).
Does it show up in iTunes when you plug it into your computer? Perhaps you need to do a firmware upgrade or a factory reset.

Ipod won't turn on!

Step 1: Try charging your iPod via USB to your computer. Wait for a few minutes and see if it is accepting a charge. (You might have forgotten to charge it)
Step 2: After a full charge, try using your iPod. If your iPod dies in less than 2 hours or so, your battery is weakening or is dying out. If this is the issue skip to Step 4
Step 3: If you cannot turn your iPod on even after those steps, then your iPod really is dead. Proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: You can do one of either three options from this point:
  1. If you bought your iPod less than a year ago, the Apple Store might replace your iPod for free on the spot as part of their warranty. OR
  2. Go to the Apple Store and ask for them to repair your iPod for a fee.
  3. Go to the Apple Store with your old iPod, and turn it in when you buy a new one - you will receive a 10% off for a new iPod.

Belkin FM transmitter problem

the F8Z136-BLK does not support 4G nanos. The pins are different on the connector, so the nano will not charge.

Ipod will fully charge but only lasts a short time. whats wrong?

My little brother gave me his ipod shuffle for the same reason, saying the battery was dying and would only play for half an hour after a full night's charge. However, I went ahead and gave it a shot anyway and it always lasts for several hours (long enough that it's never died, so I don't know an actual time).

Anyway, it turned out to be a usb hardware problem. His old computer wasn't built to charge via usb, so the ipod would take what little it could and flop five songs later. I don't know what kind of hardware you're running, but perhaps you could try plugging it into a different computer and seeing if that chnges things?

I would also recommend looking into wall chargers, if that is the case. Otherwise the convenience factor kinda goes out the window.

Ipod not charging

Does it turn on when it is plugged in? If may be a bad battery. Sometimes when a LiOn battery goes completely dead and is left for an extended period of time, it will not accept charge. If it is under warranty, contact Apple support and have the battery replaced.

Cheers
