Hi Subhash,
This is a common problem with remote controls. One of the remote keys is permanently on and is causing continuous blinking of the red led. Please open the hand set and clean the PCB and the rubber sheet thoroughly with some solvent like isopropyl alcohol. If you do not have alcohol, even the after shave lotion will do the job. If you do not have after shave lotion, simply clean the pcb and the rubber sheet thoroughly with mild soap solution and water.Dry them completely before reassembling. I hope this will solve your problem.
Just want to ask, have you accidentally dropped this head set? if not then lets make it this way.
Now the time that this headset still working or responding normally..
- the time that you use this headset what was the color of the led? is it red, green or blue?
- normally led red light indicates standby mode,
- how would you know that your headset is in fullcharge? is there an indicator?
Just to clarify, When you say sound out with the tv, which are you referring to: 1. DVD built into to the theatre 2. Pay TV 3. Analogue TV ( or digital TV with inbuilt set top box) 4.Digital TV with a separate set top box Please indicate which one.
TV: ther should be several set of three RCA Sockets on the back of the tv. Look for the red, whit and yellow Phono sockets. do you have these colours and are any of them labelled TV Out or output?
Philips System: Look for an analogue in, Aux IN, or any other unused RCA (Phono) Sockets ( They MUST be red or white!) Take a set of red and white RCA leads plug them into the OUT set on the TV, and The "INput" set on the Home theatre, select that input on the theatre and your off and racing! Please clarify first though!
Hello Paul,
all you need to do is plug the power in, put the scart lead into the back of your Pioneer tv, the other end of your scart into the bottom scart of your sky box named TV.
you will also need to connect the sky cable to the box to receive your signal. its a F type connector ie it screws on.
The other cable you have with the 6 push in coloured leads they are Component cable and the red and white ones are Audio cables. You will not need these cable unless your sky box is a HD box then i would suggest you get a HDMI cable instead of using component (less cables showing) dont be fooled into buying gold plated HDMI cables as they do not make any difference to the picture Quality as the back of the sky box is alley and so is the telly. So please dont waste your money on that type of cable.

make sure the power is turned ON
now go to the room you can not change the sky channels over with.
you should notice on the magic eye itself should now have a Red led light on it now. you should now be able to change the channel over just remember to press the blue sky button on the remote at the top otherwise this will not operate the sky box.
If not unplug this magic eye and try this directly into RF out 2 to make sure that its not the magic eye that is at fault. If it is working correctly then the light will appear.
I had the same problem, after reading the forums and playing around for a while I cracked it. It was to do with the output from the DVD player, in the DVD player setup I changed the output from RGB to s-video and bingo! Hope that helps

make sure the rf is set to on
Remember the channel rf number,
go to your television the link is to.
go to menu then setup and then manual tune
select the channel you want to view sky on. normally channel 6 on your analogue
then go to Channel type in whatever the rf setting was on your main sky box then press save.
that is your telly sorted out. if you have a magic eye connected at the link end you should see a red led light lit up.
if not remove the magic eye and connect it straight into the back of your sky box RF2
just to make sure that the eye is not at fault.
hope this helps
ill check in a day or two to see if you need more help.
Disconnect the TV from your sky box and watch TV with just aerial. If this cure the problem, then it is the sky box that may cause the problem. If not then your TV has a problem. Check the colour setting and make sure it is not in saturated mode. Otherwise take it back to the shop.
