Question about Multimedia Projectors
I not sure how to connect the projector to a lap top. I have connected a cord from the rgb in connector to my dell laptop but it will not project the image. I held down the fn key and the f8 key but it still does not work.
possible bent pins on the cable.
possible video card death in the computer.
but, most likely one of two things can remedy your problem :
- 1 - try to reselect the source on your projector, so that it is detecting the port where your computer is plugged in. if that fails to solve the problem.........
- 2 - right-click on the desktop, and select "properties". then select "displays", then try the "advanced" tab, and mess around in there. can't tell for sure what options you will be facing at this point, since i don't know what graphics card is in your computer, nor do i know how that card is interfacing with your computer.
good luck, and i hope i was able to give you some help!!!!
(funny thing is, i was on here trying to solve a projector issue i am having, and saw your question pop up on the screen, and figured i might be able to help).
