I want to get a ringtone off my computer and put it on my cell phone. I've tried sending it over via bluetooth, but it gets sent over into the "My Sounds" folder not "My Ringtones" folder. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.
look under your Music Player for the ringtone, instead of looking under audio and ringtones. Then open it like you want to listen to it. choose "Set as" then Ringtone ID. this should work as long as the file is formatted as an MP3

sorry your phone does not support music files (mp3,acc,ect.)
you cannot just bring your MP3's onto your phone and use them as ringtones.
What I have done in the past is taken a file as a MP3 and found a program on the internet (google will help you find one) to convert it to a .wma file. You can then send that as a pix message to your via e-mail. Once it is on your phone you can through the message save file as a ringtone.
well my friend if you want to use a mp3 as a ringtone here it's what you have to do.... buy it! no just kidding save your mp3 ringtones on to the memory card in the "my sounds" section make sure it doesn't go over 400 kb , select ringtone and send it on a mms to your self and thre you have it save it as a ringtone hope this helps you oh also you can send and recieve ringtones to via blutooth but by mms messaging
