Question about Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook E4010 Notebook

1 Answer

To startup, I have to press to On/Of button 2x or even more. Sometimes, the startup begins, but more and more, nothing happens. It seems that even the bios won't startup. This problem with 2 of these notebooks, Fujitsu E4010. Is this a known problem? And if so, can you describe this problem and is there a solution?

Frist Rfix your battery and RAM memory.
then check if problem still remains then you have to reset bios setttings .

For that you have to open back side of laptop.
Then you find mother bord chip set.
Pull cmos cell from mother bord for 15 seconds then refix it then check.
you can refix Battery and RAM from back side there is 2 small plate RAM plate is up on battery plate.Let me know if you have any confusion .
Thanks.

Yoke, sometimes a recently installed application may be causing a problem. Try the following free or paid apps: 1. slim drivers 2. advanced uninstaller 3. advanced system care. These are great progs. and am sure will help you BUT be careful of actions you take.

Problems burning a cd with Sonic DigitalMedia Plus v7, I am on an HP notebook running XP

Try different software. I use CDBunerXP with no problems. It's free. Just don't install any extras (add-on programs) they include.

You should let it burn with no other activity during the process.

Computer turn on, but when it does it won't POST

It seems like a motherboard issue. It heats up, thus is not able to turn on continuously. You may need to check internal parts embeded on the motherboard llike the fan and processor before you could know what needs replacement.

I HAVE ACER ASPIRE 6930. STOP AT THE BEGINING LOGO

Hi,
Try taking the system memory out and reseating it, the memory is located underneath the laptop behind a panel like this >>>>

Clean the contacts on the ram and reseat it then try to boot again.
Make sure you remove the battery and the AC power supply before you remove the ram cover.

Good luck

Startup problem

This could be a corrupt bios or a low cmos battery, follow instructions. Take the right hand side panel off the pc. Look for a disc shaped 3V watch type battery and replace (Very cheap) Look on the motherboard and reset the bios at the 'JBAT1' terminal put jumper(little plastic cap) from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 for a few seconds then back to pins 1-2. Restart pc and enter bios when prompted(or press F2 or DEL on startup) to set time and date, save settings and Exit bios. It should now boot ok.
