Check your PTT area for debris or sticking. Clean with canned or compressed air, no solvents.

I have a nokia lumia 625 and it does not pick up 5ghz wifi, any clues. It picks up 2.4ghz ok.

You can only get higher than 2.4ghz from your router if you are using a ''wireless N'' router and your phone must be wireless N capable. The fact that you are asking this question, probably means your phone is capable of ''N'' reception, but your router is not ''N'' compliant. You are probably using a ''B'' and/or ''G'' type router, which would definitely only transmit at 2.4ghz. // By the way, even ''N'' can be transmitted at 2.4ghz. The ''ghz'' isn't as important as whether or not the router can transmit ''N'' wifi frequency. You can tell by the download speed. ''B'' & ''G'' won't transmit faster than 54gb per second. The ''N'' speed is upwards of 100gb per second. All three (''A'', ''B'' & ''N'') can be transmitted at 2.4ghz if that is the router's rating. The ghz is not really about ''speed''. It is about the fact that many wireless devices (such as landline telephones) transmit at 2.4ghz, which can interfere with the router's 2.4ghz signal. So, using a router that transmits at 5ghz won't have interference issues with other 2.4ghz wireless equipment. // In short, what matters is that your wireless ROUTER transmits with the ''N'' version of wifi.

The phone stop ringing & I can't find the problem

(I am assuming you are a business.) You don't have a power problem, you have a line trouble to or inside the phone itself. Phones operate with two wires: tip or green wire transmit the outgoing sound (voice); the ring or red wire transmit the incoming ringing signal. Your ring side is shorting out after the first ring. This short can exist in a local central office that transmits your dial tone to you; can exist in the underground/airial wires to your buiding; can exist in a wire closet (a riser wire closet from the basement wire closet to your floor); or in your the very base of your phone. You can have your service provider to verify the ring side of your service at the basement equiptment room. They may charge to verify any further; however, it is common to have this short appear from the central office. If the central office is transmitting a good ring side signal, pay a local communications company to verify your line from the basement entry point to your office(s). NOTE: FIRST TEST OUT A CORDED PHONE AND SEE IF IT RINGS OK...THAT WILL ISOLATE THE TROULE TO YOUR PHONE IF THE CORDED PHONE RINGS OK. GOOD LUCK.

I have a cobra ltd 29 cb radio. I bought a 102 inch whip for it now when I key up my mike I hear my self threw my speaker and I can't transmit what's the deal

its shorting against the "Ground" sounds like. Check your mount on the 102 inch whip, also check coax, get you an SWR meter from RADIO SHACK , check it should be 1.1 to 1.5, if its 3.1 to 4.1 it has a short. Hope you get this fixed....Do not transmit with this short; or you fry the finals.

I can't hear people

Make sure you don't try to transmit without a proper CB antenna, it will damage & blow out the power transistors! If you have another CB close by, try listening without the antenna attached If you even faintly hear whats transmitted by the other CB, your antenna cable is probably shorted out... AGAIN don't try to transmit with no antenna or a shorted cable it will damage the unit!
