Turn the device off and take the battery out, then place the phone and the battery into a bowl of rice, the rice works by absorbing the moisture out of things. Leaving it in there for a few hours should do the trick, if not the damage is irreversible and you will have to bring it in and either get another or have them replace whatever got ruined. Probably just the screen from what you are saying.
