If the wires werent put back right the unit would not run at all , you may have to replace pressure switch when it broke it may be keeping the contacts in the closed position.

My Campbell Hausfeld WL610002AJ Cycles one time turns off at 140 PSI and next time it cycles makes noise and sounds like it locks up.

The model you are using is only rated for 120 psi that could be part of the problem, at 140 psi you have all ready exceded the max load on the psi regulator. You can adjust the regulator so it will turn off at 120 psi and then it would not put a strain on the compressor.

My compressor runs way too long to fill up to 150 PSI. It fills up quick to 120 PSI then just takes forever to get to 150 but finally does. It's only 1 year old with very little use. 17 gal, 1.1 horse,...

The pressure switch should be at the factory setting of about 120# max. Not to be hurtful, but what you discribe is normal. Even a 2 HP 220V is minimum for a compressor.. You go by the CFM Rating. You and I can not afford a two thousand dollar 12 CFM Unit. Your compressor is simply too small, to do much. It is pushing against tank pressure so much, after 90# that the reed valves can't hold it. Set it at 100 to 120. It is not designed to run up to 150 max. Now if it is,an oiless compressor , it won't last long. My Campbell- Hausfeld lasted 31 years. Got a new one two years ago

when the regulator switches off it will push a needle into the blowoff valve. it blows off air in cilinderhead and pipe going to checkvalve. when it is blowing off constantly please check blowoffvalve under regulator. when it keeps blowing after stopping please clean up checkvalve very often smal rustparts causes these problems. good luck.

My air compressor can pump air in but when it get

when it reaches 120 psi it will cut out usually will cut back in at around 70- 80 psi if it struggles to restart at cut in pressure it may not be bleeding the head pressure om your compressor . this is done by the pressure switch which when shuts off releases a small squirt of air under it . to solve this problem you may need new switch . there is also the non return valve to check

No air pressure past 60PSI on a 125PSI Campbell Hausfield WL61110

Your comperssor is oilless type and suffers from short cylinder / piston life. When the compressor no longer reaches cycle pressure the cylinder / piston should be replaced. These parts are available at I believe that the part number is wl210300aj. Not expensive, enjoy.
