SOURCE: KM-3035 scanning issues
the 30/40/5035 series machines have two network cards in them. One for printing and one for scanning. and they have separate IP numbers also. make sure you have scanfile utility running on your pc or wherever you are sending the files and the folder set up in the utility. then set it up on the scanner network card.. Not the printer.

it sounds like there is an ip conflict... you may need to reserve an ip address just for the copier or failing that change your copiers ip address to one below the ip range... if it still has problems then I would check the network cables.... and see if you get any error codes... copier can go offline if 1. the print card is loose... bad mounting socket on the main board... ip conflict... someone else has the ip address... poor network traffic... the signals over the network cables are degrading too fast... so the copier gets a corrupt file or unfinished file and bombs out... power surge... this causes firmware corruption and the thing just starts shooting wierd error codes... I think I have given you enough to think about...
