Question about Bushnell SCOUT 1000 Rangefinder
When I hold the mode button for five seconds to get the setup application all that comes up is "Y" or "M" and I can switch back and forth between them. I can't get anything else, no bow or rifle mode which i need especially bow mode.
Look on the back of the rangefinder......Its a very small strip that has the model number, serial number, and date of manufacture. If it sez.....20-1932 you have a "bow and rifle" rangefinder.....!!!! If it doesn't have model number 201932. You don't have that capability. Read your manual, check the unit for the model type.
Part 2: Try holding down the "FIRE BUTTON" for more than 5 seconds....see if the the "setup" comes across the display screen........(read the manual) The unit should have came with a ballistic disk. If you don't have one call Bushnell and get one. (800.423.3537) It has a lot of good info on it.
Good Luck to you David!!!
