For Razr v3 Push button on back side to open batter compartments.

For RAZR XT912/XT910. Press and hold volume down and power button to force reboot.

For my two bits, try holding the power button a little longer, it might engage.

Power is draining

How long have you had the phone ?

your Phones battery could be potentially Leaking, and it may not be able to hold a charge anymore after how you have described the symptoms. Batteries that can no longer hold their charge expel all of the energy they would normally use to power the phone, and this generally causes excess heat around the battery compartment,

i would suggest purchasing a new battery, preferrably one created by Motorolla Specifically for your phone, when you have the battery, keep the phone on charge for a long time to ensure the battery holds its maximum charge !

This should solve your problems

I think it is bricked

I deal with this problem alot. 9 out of 10 times it's the battery. You can get one very cheaply on the internet. When the battery has out lived it's time, that one of the signs that it's time to get a new one.

Phone will not power on/off, just flashes!!!

Do you have a friend with the same (or similar) RAZR? Try swapping out the batteries and see if the results are the same. Also try this with the SIM card (and without).

Frozen phone

Hello Gary,

Remove the back cover, remove the battery and remove the Sim Card and Memory if you have it, now put the Sim card back in put the battery back in and try and power up, if it powers up add the memory back in. if it dose not power up try to plug in the charger and power it on if this dose not work go to you local Service Provider and have them check the battery. if the battery checks out ok then you will need to replace the Phone.

Hope this helps,
Jason
