On the back of the washer, take off the bottom screw of the plastic parts on the back edge of the washers top. Now, standing in front of the washer, use the palms of your hands to sharply push back on the L and R edges of the top. It should slide back about 2 inches. Now, lift the top off.

These are the part numbers for all the boards that deal with the display. Im leaning towards the sustains as well and you need to do both at the same time cause if one is bad and you replace just one, a bad one can fry the new one.

Why doesn't the start button work?

1. Check to see that the washer is plugged in.
2. Check to see that there is no tripped breaker for the washing machine circuit.

If the washing machine is getting 110V at the plug, then you could have:
1. Defective Filter Assembly or
2. Defective Main PCB
3. Display PCB

LED Display

You can find the display PCB assembly at any LG authorized parts distributor and it is part number EBR36858901. It can be replaced easily by removing the top panel and the console. Unplug the dryer before servicing.

Remove the screws securing the top panel to the rear of the washer and slide the panel to the rear of the dryer. Lift the panel off and remove it from the dryer.

Remove the screws mounting the console to the dryer cabinet and disconnect the wires from the console.

Pull the console upward and then forward to remove it from the dryer. Remove the screws securing the display PCB assembly to the console; mount the new one and secure it into position.

Reinstall the console to the cabinet in reverse of the removal steps and connect the wire harnesses. Slide the top panel back into position and secure it to the rear of the washer.

Model DD603 top drawer has no power and is difficult to open/shut....Help!!

No power to top drawer,.... sounds like the main pcb is shot.... and happened when the washer was in use, so the lid assembly is clamped down, you can still open it by pulling but has alot of resistance. easy to replace the PCB, but dear to buy it!...

LG Washer won't power up

LE Locked motor error. Cause: The connector (3-pin), male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector. (3-pin,female,white) of stator assembly. Or the electrical contact between the connectors. (3-pin,male,white) in the motor harness and 4-pin,female,white connector in the main PWB assembly is bad or unstable. Or the motor harness between the stator assembly and main PWB assembly is cut (open circuit) Or the hall sensor is out of order/defective.
