My first thought is that the blades are too short. If it cuts everywhere but in the middle, I'm wondering how it could be anything but that.

a lawn mower is not much different than a car, you still need 3 things to make it run: fuel, electricity, and a spark. you say it doesnt stay running, Before trying to make any repairs, ensure that you are using the correct fuel, also make sure the fuel lines are not leaking or crimped. if the lines seem fine, check the fuel filter and/ or fuel pump. though the mower is new, they can still have faulty componets.

you're gonna need to use an impact wrench on those spindle shaft nuts because they tighten themselves over time and they wont come loose with a ratchet and socket.

This machine is known for having belt guides installed improperly from the factory. Check to make sure none of the metal guides are touching the belt when installed.
Ps check with the machine off!
