Can't access facebook account

I created an account on facebook using only one email address. The next day it stopped letting me log in and I received a note from the help center saying my email address was not connected to facebook. It was only after I created another account that I saw my other was still on there (under the same name) and I was still getting messages to the first account through my email address but that I couldn't get to in facebook. How do I delete my first account if I can't log into it and apparently neither can facebook?

Will this work to delete my first account only and not touch my second account? (Both were under the same name and the same email address, but the first account can no longer be logged into with my email address even while I still get messages.)

How Do I get back on facebook

This may be helpful when ones original EMAIL ACCT IS CLOSED and one can't recall the original password.

1) Maybe try this:
Facebook will send you is 'timed'--the link that would be in it to regain access to your account would only be good for a few hours, so be sure to look in the Spam folder of your email to see if it shows up there.
Here is a video on resetting password that may help you understand the steps:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=823444383701

2) Or try this:
https://www.facebook.com/help/132243923516844
You may be able to get back into your Facebook account by answering a security question, using an alternate email address listed on your account... If there is one.
1.Go to the Facebook login page and click Forgot your password? or Can't login? in the top right.
2.Fill out the form to identify your account.
3.Select I forgot my password on the next page if prompted.
4.Look at the list of email addresses listed on your account. If you don't have access to any of these, click No longer have access to these?
5.Follow the directions provided to answer your security question or get help from friends, if you see these options, or contact your email service provider.
Once you get back into your account you can change your login email address at any time from your account settings. You can also log into Facebook with any email address you've added to your account.

Hoping this helps in some way. Have a good day.

Wont let me make a new account on this computer

When Facebook was founded on February 4, 2004, it defined its mission as "Giving people the power to share and make the world more open and connected."

With the widespread success of this social networking website todaymore than 500 million regular users as of April 2011 it may meet that goal for many.

When a Facebook user can no longer access an account, it can be frustrating, but there is typically a reasonable explanation.
Cookies/Cache

Facebook suggests that any user who can't access their account should clear cookies and cache on their computer as a first step.

This will help remove old and unneeded files from your computer, and will sometimes help your computer to run faster, as well as allowing access to Facebook again.

Once cookies and cache have been cleared, you should type "m.facebook.com" into the address bar on your computer.

Avoid using any old bookmarks or links to visit Facebook for this first visit after clearing the cookies and cache.

Password Incorrect

If you attempt to log into your Facebook account with an incorrect password, you will be unable to access your account.

Even if you have the correct email address, that is only half of the log-in equation, and the correct password is absolutely necessary to log into the site.

If you may have entered the wrong password, enter it again, taking care to get each character correct.

Passwords are case sensitive, so all capital and lowercase letters and any symbols must be entered correctly.

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to click the "Forgot Your Password" link to recover your account and create a new password.

Account Closed

Facebook reserves the right to close accounts that they have determined are in violation of their terms of service.

If Facebook found that your account contained inappropriate content, did not represent a real person, or violated Facebook rules in some way, the account may be closed, leaving you unable to access it.

If your account was closed for one of these reasons, your login will fail and you will be provided with a link to Facebook's "Confirm Your Identity" page, where you can read about typical reasons for account closures.

Email Login Incorrect

If you have entered the incorrect email address, you will be unable to log into your Facebook account.

The email address that you use to log into Facebook is case sensitive, just as your email address is. If you fail to capitalize a letter or forget to insert an underscore that is part of the email address, login will fail.

If you cannot access your Facebook account due to an incorrect email address, double checking the address for correctness prior to logging in again will resolve the issue.

Compromised Account

If account information such as your email address or password is stolen, your account may be compromised.

If, for example, your account information is stolen, the person in possession of your log-in information can access your account and change the password so that you will no longer be able to get to your account.

If you think this may have happened, you must access the "Compromised Account" page on Facebook and follow steps to prove your identity and secure your account.

IT SAYS MY FACEBOOK IS LOCKED DUE TO USING A DIFFERENT DEVICE, I AM STILL JUST USEING MY COMPUTER

It is possible to get hacked or click on a virus that locks you out of your Facebook account.
The social network uses preventive security measures to stop malicious software or hackers from harming the site.

Sometimes these countermeasures are too sensitive and cause everyday users to get locked out. If you were recently locked out, due to a technical glitch, user error or compromised account, then you can use Facebook's automated compromised reporting tool.

In most cases, you'll regain access to your account within a few minutes.
Type "facebook.com/hacked" in the address bar of a Web browser.

Press "Enter" on your keyboard.
Click the "My Account is Compromised" button to continue.

Fill in the form on the next page by choosing one of three identification methods: email address or phone number, Facebook username, or your name along with a friend's name.

Click the "Continue" button to continue onto the next page.
Enter your Facebook account's password, and click "Continue."

On the next page, the website notifies you that your account is locked out, which it may or may not have already been.

Type a "New Password" and "Confirm Password."
When done typing, click the "Change Password" button.

Click the check box for each email address associated with your account, confirming you have changed the password for your email address.

This is a security precaution. Click "Continue" to move to the next step.
Review if there were changes to Account Settings, and then click "Continue."

Click the "Log In" button. Your Facebook account is unlocked, and you may proceed to use it as normal.
My Facebook Let Me Log In

Facebook has become a daily or near-daily habit for many people all over the world:
People spend more than 700 billion minutes every month on the site, talking to friends, playing games and sharing information.

While signing up with Facebook is simple, sometimes accessing an existing account can prove to be problematic.

This can occur for a variety of reasons.
Incorrect Password
Facebook users who attempt to log into the site with an incorrect password will not be able to access their account until they go through the password recovery process.

Users can recover their Facebook password by clicking the "Forgot Your Password?" link underneath the password login field.

Users must enter their Facebook email address, linked mobile phone number, Facebook username, or their name and a friend's name.

Following information entry, users can click the "Search" button to identify their account and have the password reset to a new password of the user's choice
.
Incorrect or Forgotten Email
Facebook users who provide an incorrect email address will be unable to log into the site.
Since an email address must be entered exactly as it appears on the email account, including any capital or lowercase letters, numbers and special symbols, an incorrect email login may be as simple as an accidental lowercase letter or a forgotten underscore.

Facebook users should check their email address to ensure that no mistakes of this nature have occurred before login.

If a user has forgotten the email address used for their Facebook account, Facebook suggests the following options for email address recovery:

Try to log in with a username if one was registered, try to log in using a mobile phone number if one is linked to the account, try locating the account on the "Password Reset" page, or ask a Facebook friend to view the account and find the email address listed on the profile.

If none of these options work, Facebook suggests using any option on the "Recover Your Account" page.

Cache Or Cookies Problems Facebook users who are unable to log in may be having a cache or cookies problem.
To fix these type issues, users should clear the cache and cookies on the computer or mobile device, enter "m.facebook.com" as a URL rather than using previously established bookmarks or links, then log in as usual.
Account Disabled by Facebook
Facebook seeks to keep its site populated with real people, rather than fake profiles.
As Facebook states, "Since accounts that impersonate anyone or anything can damage the integrity of this environment, Facebook doesn't allow fake profiles for celebrities, pets, ideas or inanimate objects."

If your profile is deemed to be a potential fake profile, the account may be disabled by Facebook. When this occurs, the user will get a message upon attempted login that provides a link to the "Confirm Your Identity" page.

This page provides possible reasons that the account may have been disabled. In some cases, it is due to the user not confirming an identity via a phone number. http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=17007&ref_query=forgot

Hi Eric Strouse!

You mentioned that you have created a new Facebook account using the same email address from your first Facebook account.
Sir, I just want to know if you have used your new account to log in on different sites that you use to visit? If yes, I would suggest visiting every possible sites that you have linked with it and close that account too. Cause every time you will be log-in those sites your new Facebook account will be reinstated.
In case you sir, you have not use it to other sites, You will have to close this new account and need not to access your Facebook with the same email address you use with your first Facebook account. It is going to take you 15 days before it finally deleted. REMEMBER: don't access your Facebook account, cause if you do it will be reinstated, no matter what you use to sign, old or new account. Just don't do anything.
You can follow these procedure to delete your account
Delete My Facebook Account

Please comeback to me after 15 days and let me know If you need further assistance.

Received a message that I needed to comfirm my address. I did but nothing happened until they blocked from face book.

When you replied to the email, did you include your log in information? If so, this may have been a phishing email. The email was probably not from who you thought it was. And, you sent them the information to access your account.

First, you need to change your password for your email account. Next, contact Facebook and let them know that your Facebook account may have been hacked and you can no longer access it.

If you believe your Facebook account has been hacked or phished, please follow this link.
