If the set tunes in most of them, I would question the Cable Co. to see it the ones you are not getting are scrambled and not receivable without a cable box.

Certain cameras are showing the same video.

First you need to isolate the problem. Step one - make sure the video from the cameras is correct - use a monitor and check each input separate. If the video is correct, use one camera and start from input one on the DVR and check all inputs - in other words plug your camera in input 1, check for video to make sure is correct and shows up in the right place, than go to input 2. This way you check your DVR cards. If the video shows up, but in the wrong place - check the settings on the DVR - you might be able to change the physical input in the viewer.Or you might have a bad DVR.......do a search for DVR Doctors in Google - in case you need repair.

When I got the remote control and started the channel setup, it only picked up Digital channels, and I don't know how to have all of the other cable channels show up. The channel numbers come up like...

This is a newer TV. It doesn't have an analog tuner. You will have to buy the analog to digital converter box and re-scan your channels, or switch to a digital cable/dish provider.

I have a Panasonic PV-V4525S VCR and I'm trying to program it to work with the Comcast cable. Right now it will only record the same channel that the TV is on and I have to tell the VCR to record channel...

If your using digital cable it will only record channel 3 or 4 depending on what your cable box is set to...In order for it to record different channels it needs a cable source plugged directly into it. You will only be able to record standard cable channels 1-125. If it's digital cable forget about... you can only record it with channel 3/4 a solution to this would be using a 2nd digital box.. "auto-programming" may be limited even with a 2nd cable box. If your only using standard cable 1-125... you can use the TV/VCR button it will switch between the tuner of the TV & VCR allowing you to record while you watch a different show... keep in mind this won't work for digital channels which if I'm not mistaken comcast has already converted all channels to digital even basic.

Loss of VCR Channels due to Digital Switchover

Comcast is full of it.

If you have a cable box, plug the box directly into the cable feed, then place the VCR inline between the cable and the TV. Leave the VCR on Channel 3 or 4 and use the box to select the channel. You could also use the video and audio out lines from the box and run them to the VCR.

Bought a proscanlcd hdtv 32lb30Q unable to get cable signal

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, pls confirm if below is how it is wired using a coaxial cable and not 3cable RCA to RCA:
  • Charter Digital Cable > DVD/VCR > TV
If yes and your concern is snowy or no signal on the TV screen, might it be that you have to power OFF the DVD/VCR when selecting channels on the TV itself (including when channel setup is being done).

Alternately, you can tune the TV to channel 3 and let the DVD/VCR do the channel selections.

Pls post back results. Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
