Go back to that base station and ensure that it recognizes the bedroom phone
follow the user manual to install other phones
the bedroom phone has to be the same exactly and not earlier versions or different makes

Has happened before at many of our locations, always after being dropped. Usually the phone is not on silent, the ringer is broken. The only solution we have found is top replace the handset.
Hi,
If you are using Android phone you need to make sure that the ring-tone volume is not muted. Just goto setting and sound and then increase all the volume, sometime even if the phone is not in silent mode it won't ring due to Android sound settings . You can also use the volume rocker key to increase the ring tone volume. Just in case also change the ring-tone as well in case if the ring tone file is corrupt. Now try ringing your phone from another phone and see if that works. If it still doesn't work, just turn off your phone and take the battery out for 10 seconds and put it back. Try ringing it again. If nothing works, there might be problem with your built in speakers. And you need to contact the manufacturer.
It would be better if you could tell your phone make, model and mobile operating system name and version, to help you further.
If you haven't tried this already, sometimes the simple silly old fall back of powering down the phone & removing the battery 30 secs, then powering back up will work wonders. If you haven't tried it yet I'd do it just to see if it helps
Your phone is set too silent. If it has buttons on the side, try pressing the up arrow button until it's loud enough for you. Alternately, go into the phone's settings and look for a "Ringer Settings", "Sounds", or "Profiles" category. You should be able to adjust the volume from there.
To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode Step 1 To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds. To exit Silent / Vibrate Mode, perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode. You will see a confirmation message for Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, each time you enter or exit Silent / Vibrate Mode. The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent Vibrate Only Mode. Step 2 While in standby mode, press the volume key, located on the left side of the handset, then select either “Vibrate Only", “Alarm Only” or “All Sounds Off”. To disable perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Mode. The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode.
Press and hold down the # key on the keyboard until the phone changes from silent to ring mode. This also works for a fast switch from ringing to silent mode when going to a movie or something.
Try pressing and holding the # key for a few seconds. This turns silent mode on and off with Samsung phones. If you're sure that silent mode is NOT on, and the phone still won't ring, you may need to seek getting the phone repaired. It could potentially be moisture that has gotten into the top 1/2 of the phone, shorting out the speaker, or the speaker could have just gone bad.
you can actually move the button , on the top left hand side of your iphone, over the ringer volume, you will see a red or orange dot, this means the switch has you iphone in silent mode, I was stuck on this, until I found it is a actual switch, look at it closely, you can move it. So where you see the red dot, put your finger on it and move it the opposite way, and I do not mean press the button, I mean, flip the switch on it, then your phone will not be in silent mode anymore,,, this was very annoying, I hope it helps anyone that has the same problem.
cheers!
