I recently purchased a motorhome equipped with the Duralast inverter. The previous owner had plugged an extension cord into it.

I just completed attaching a standard circuit to it and when I tested the outlet the reading indicated "open ground. It appears the inverter does not provide grounding. There is no provision on the unit for connecting to ground and there is no mention of grounding in the manual. I would appreciate any clarification anyone could provide regarding this. Thanks, Mike

The gfi circuit inside is bad or was used for something pulling too many amps. Most in verters only use a positive lead and ground lead to power the inverter. If you can run another ground to inverter case just in case im wrong about the inverter. But, if I am right the internal rectifier is not swiching ground paths and is not completing a path to transformer for 110 volts, because it was used improperly.

Have a mity mite ps 120 a automotive jump starter but no chord to charge it. can i just use any chord or do i need to buy a replacement chord? And if so where can i purchase?

What Cord?

Your asking about plugging it into the homes
electrical outlet ?

Can't use just any cord, not a two prong lamp cord
type extension,no

You use a three prong grounded extension wire

Does it not have several feet of wire on it & a three
prong plug?

You use a standard outdoor extension, like you
would for a vacuum cleaner outside

If you use it a lot, buy a short 6 foot one, just to
use with it

How about the owners manual ?

We have an rv with a onan emerld I set generator on board. When we bought the rv (used) the generator did not work at all. We purchased the motherboard for it and it now starts and runs fine but we are not...

Is your generator wired in to an automatic switchover in the motorhome, or do you have external plug in on face of generator, or near it. The power from the generator needs to be attached one way or another to the motorhome. It may be as simple as plugging the cord from motorhome into it, depending on what set-up you have.

Can't find "Block Heater" plug-in on my 94 Cherokee Country

Hello,
Well the original owner may have got taken. I suggest looking nowhere near the air cleaner for the factorry installed Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Eagle block heaters are mounted on the side of the engine in a freeze plug port. There was an option available for the 4.0L and had a removeable 110 volt plug. You want to look on the side of the engine block and look for a 110 volt cord or a freeze plug with two electrical connectors sticking out. You may have to order the electrical extension cord from the dealer and is VIN specific. You may have to call a wrecking yard or dealer in Canada.
Good Luck.
