First, let me provide the link to the manual for your reference:

There are two date/time viewing options...

1. Viewing the data and time while replaying (reviewing) the images - see page 33/34 in the manual.
This option allows you to see the date and time of the picture you are currently reviewing on the camera.

2. Printing the image with the date and time. Check out page 103 of the manual.
This option allows you print the image with the date and time.

Unfortunately, this camera does not have the capability to set a time stamp on the image when capturing however, time and date details are stored with the file when viewing on the computer. You can see the details in "detail folder view" or just by right clicking, properties on the image itself.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you need further clarification.

Hello, I have a Canon Power Shot sd1000 Digital ELPH. I cant get the time and date stamp to print on the pictures. How can I fix this?

If the pictures are the ones you have shot without time and date stamp, you can't add them by your camera then. You only can add them by your computer.

How do I get the date/time stamp to show up on the picture file on my cyber shot DSC W80. Help!! Thanks Darren

The date stamp will only work when the camera's resolution is set to postcard mode. Press Func/set, scroll down to the bottom, then across to the icon with the clock and mountain. It will say "postcard". Press Func/set again. Then press Menu, scroll down to "Date stamp" and across to select date or date and time, then press menu again

I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W220 digital still camera. How do i imprint/stamp a date on the photographs that I'm taking? I have many without a date so i forget when they were taken. I had a previous...

I have the same problem and am researching this topic to find an answer. Unfortunately, I think I found an answer that I didn't want to hear; there isn't a date/time stamp with this camera (?). Hard to believe Sony could make such an intelligent piece of equipment and NOT have the capability to date/time stamp...I thought that was a standard specification for ALL cameras now-days. The camera will not do put a date and time stamp on the photos automatically. You can put the date and time on each photo, one at a time, with the software that came with the camera.

How to stamp date & time on prints taken by the Sony cyber Shot DC S730 camera.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Date and timestamps

Is there a way to select a group of pictures on the camera and give them all the same date and/or time stamp?
Each JPG will show the date on which it was taken, but not on the photo, it will show it on your computer under the column "date picture taken"
