Missing input cable for protron pds-2315 home move system

Missing input cable from the subwoofer on the Proton pds2315. When I attempted to look it up it is also listed by Proton as the 300x the picture is the same as the PDS 2315. On the back of the subwoofer it is listed as model # 1500, it appears to be the same as the other two listing. Where can I order the input cable it appears to be a 6 or 7 pin cable.

I have a sb wa340 active subwoofer. I have subwoofer and speakers but I don't have DVD how can I use this

So is the DVD part missing? There is a VCR / Aux input on the back but it is for audio only. There are no video inputs so if the DVD is not included in your sub/speaker system, you'll be limited to audio only. First, you'll need to connect a TV to your system using one 'Video Out' cable methods so you can see the menu for the remote control changes on the system. From here there are 2 options:
  1. Connect up a working DVD player directly to your TV using the best option available. Use the audio outputs on your TV to connect to the VCR or TV input on the system box. (Using standard RCA cables.) You may need to enable the external audio outputs on the TV. (Check the setup -> audio menus etc.)
  2. You can use this as an audio amp by connecting a RCA cord from the a DVD R/L audio outputs to the VCR-Aux input on the amp box. You will need to run a separate video feed from the DVD directly to your TV. (Select the desired input on the TV to watch a DVD.)
You'll need to do a lot of switching back and forth with multiple remotes to get everything working, but the speaker setup can be made useful if it still works.

Here is a manual for the system:

I have the Klipsch Sub-10 Subwoofer, and it no longer plays music. Now it hums (vibrates constant) and corresponds (louder or softer) with volume control. Light is home but no one home situation. V

Does the subwoofer have the same hum when the input cables have been unplugged? Many input cables use very fine conductors, which often fail. A bad cable will often introduce a hum and prevent a signal from getting through. If the noise is still present without the input cable(s) connected, then repair options are limited. No schematics are available. There's a daughterboard that has been available, but its failure usually causes the system to die (short-circuit). The cost to repair the amplifier may be close to the cost to replace the entire sub.

Some cables are missing after shipment from US to Philippines. Need a picture of all the cabling from Amplifier to Subwoofer and to the speakers, please.

  • The first cord you see at the top is the Bose System Input Cable.
  • The rest are standard speaker wires in different lengths.
  • Then you have the Power corn on the very bottom of the pic.

Subwoofer turns on and is hooked up, but no sound.

The signal don't seems to be present to the sub input.
Try change the wire betwen the audio system and the subwoofer.

Loud Humming...

hum usually comes from the power side, not necessarily the inputs. try physically moving your amp to another room in the house, or even to a friends house, see if the hum goes away. if it does, get an outlet tester ($15) from home depot and test the outlet, hot and neutral may be reversed. talk to someone who knows home electricity if you are not sure what to do in an outlet. if this does not work, try plugging the amplifier into a decent power bar (apc or such) usually used for computers. this sometimes helps as well. (usually less than 30 bucks)
