Question about Microwave Ovens
For installation. The microwave is model 665.60629000. ManageMyHome.com says there are 3 screws on each of the 2 hinges. Their instructions left me wondering if I really need to take the microwave off it's mounting location, remove the cabinet, air duct, and bottom cover before removing the 4 screws from the front of the top cover (w/o removing the cover) and using a 5/16" socket remove the 6 screws. And that's just to remove the old door!
Is this really what one must go through to replace the door?
If you can get to the top screws without pulling the unit down then you can do the job. Sometimes though it goes back together and alignment is simpler if it is on a table and the cabinet is off. I have successfully done it both ways but neither is what I consider easy.
