Hi Zool,
Something may be wrong with your Controller port or the Controller itself if you cannot get out of the Browser Config Screen. Try a different Controller, or Plug you controller into a different port to see if you gain any ground. normally rebooting the console with a game disc in it will start the game automatically.

if the ps2 start and goes to the browser very fast then it is browser ic problem, you have to change it

if it says disck could not be read , then it can be disk problem or the lens

just blow the air into lens so that any dirt is on the lens will be gone or wipe it with soft cloth slightly

Wii VC games won't play on hdtv

I had the same Black Screen problem and I finally have a fix for it!

When using component video cables and a HDTV: Go into the Wii's system settings, under Screen, change TV Resolution to HDTV (480p) instead of Standard TV (480i) and change to Widescreen (16:9) under Widescreen Settings.

This worked for me, good luck!

Browser shows no data on PlayStation 2 Console

I am having the same problem with my PS2, but I have an HDD inside of mine. I am told this is a circuit problem inside the PS2 that doesn't allow the information to be transfered to the RAM. That's why you see “No Data” instead of the usual problem of “Disc Read Error”. I hate to say it, but it sounds like you are going to have to do the same thing I am about to do. Send it in to Sony and get it repaired.

I am also pretty sure this PS2 you are talking about is the large fat one, and not the slim one.

Java games

Not really with the pocket IE in the OS. You'd need a browser with decent java support like NetFront which should work fine though you'd have to play with the settings for screen size etc.
