Does the enclosure volume and style/type match the sub requirements? Are the subs wired correctly? I've seen lots of marking on the wrong terminal. Try switching one of the subs from pos to neg and neg to positive. It will be dramatic and very noticable if that's all it is.
Is your cutoff frequency correct for the sub? Make sure they're not getting full spectrum frequency. Are the Subs physically hitting any part of the enclosure at any point in the excursion? Are they screwed securely to the enclosure? Is the sub surround intact and smooth through the full extcurion? Is the amp ok? Got enough current throughout the system? Battery, Capacitor, Wiring, fuses, speaker wire etc. Bigger is better but always the correct fuse rating.
Signal from the head unit? Proper preamp wiring?

800w sony amp

I know i had a similar problem in my car, i ended up needing to do a battery relocation to the boot and putting a bigger battery in. Dont forget that just because the physical size is big doesnt mean it it has the amps so read the battery!

Hey names Nathan and I just got a kicker ZX300.1 and a I connected it to my kicker comp 12 and an alpine cde 102. So the problem is that the protection light flashes with the beat of the bass at high...

Your speaker wires could be shorting to ground at the subs or at the amp. You could be experiencing a drop in voltage when the bass hits. Check your power connection at the battery, fuse and amp. Check your ground connection at the chassis connection and at the amp.

I have a jl 500/1 pops fuses some times could it be im pulling too much power from the battery because i dont have a cap or extra battery im running at 2ohm with a 15 inch kicker l5

Seems like the KICKER is pulling to much power try to knock it back up to 4ohm and see what happens. If its fine that way then you might need a bigger amp.

Well it seems to me that the pictures of this amp show green ATC fuses which would be 30 amp fuses. What is your inline fuse from the battery? 40 amp fuses for the amp is too much current for the amps powersupply. If there was a short in the powersupply the max ammount of current that it could draw would be larger than designed to handle therefore damaging the amp.

I think ma kicker kx1200.1 amp is blown or ma kicker L7 are gone

that would be the amp. sorry to say. when a wire crosses over, it sends a shock through the amp, there are a few things to try just to see if you fried the amp. the first thing to try is to move your ground to a different location. second thing to look at would be the fuses. alot of times the fuses will blow at the slightest shock. the amp will still turn on if you have an amp with 2 fuses, it just wont be getting all the power it needs, which could be causing your problem. also, it is worth the hour and a half to mount everything down in your vehicle. you might check the kicker website, because i have herd rumors that kicker offers a lifetime warranty on almost all of their products. best of luck, and i hope you didnt fry your amp.

Green light turns red on hard notes with kicker 750 mono amp

First off, never, ever replace a blown fuse with a bigger one (especially one that is almost twice as big) unless it's an absolute emergency. Most of the time, the reason a fuse blows is because of a problem with the device (in this case, the amp). By installing a larger fuse, there's a very good chance the problem will become permanent (i.e. busted amp).

The amp could be going into an overcurrent mode when the bass hits and power cycling itself to try and reset the problem. If this is the case, take it to a local electronics repair shop and see what they can do.

It's also possible the input voltage to the amp is dropping too low during the bass hit, making the amp restart. Try putting a 1.0F or higher capacitor on the battery to buffer the power during the bass hits.

Ive got no power to the amp trough the rem wire unless i connect.

You need a bigger amp and make sure its a two channel. Four and five channel amps are for mids and highs. If you want real bass get a two channel. If you dont want to buy a bigger amp, Go get a capacitor. It acts like a battery charge storage for when your sub needs to hit those real low notes. It takes a lot of power. Also if you get a capacitor your altinater that charges your battery will not have to work so hard keeping your battery charged, Thus not wearing out your altinater and not having to replace it so soon because it will happen.

Another quick fix is turning your gain down. I turn my gain up half way, maybe a little past half way. You might not get the bass hitting as hard but at least it wont shut off on you.
