You have a bad start capacitor and the three prong device san be replaced by buying on line or going to a RV dealer and buying the three prong compressor start switch, it pulls out has three holes in it the shape of a triangle if it has a bad start capacitor you can buy one that will replace it without taking out the old capacitor. If you want a web site where they sell these post on this answer and I will send you the address of the parts store that sells them.

Have you tried another electrical hookup for your RV? You may not be getting quite enough electricity to start compressor(it takes quite a draw) It may need a kickstart, which supplements the capacitor in starting the compressor. This usually is needed when the unit gets a little older. It piggy backs onto your capacitor inside the unit, up top. If you turn off the energy, take off the plastic shroud you can access the electrical box. If you can fit a kickstart into the box be sure to secure it with some metal plumbers tape and sheetmetal screws. It might be a challenge to find a supplier willing to sell A\C parts to the public. But good luck anyways.

It could be the start components or the compressor, the start relay or capacitor may be bad, (if equipped) this can be verified with an ammeter, if there are no start components you can try adding a start assist to the compressor circuit, (if it has a run capacitor)

Hi have a Husqvarna 410 2000 got spark fuel back fires but wont start checked flywheel is on right valves rock at top dead centre ... ?? but wont start ? kick start only tho ?

If the valves "rock" at TDC, the piston is at TDC EXHAUST, not TDC COMPRESSION. Chances are the engine is flooded. Install a fresh spark plug and go easy on twisting the throttle when starting the bike. Be sure the battery is in good condition. Push the kick lever to just past TDC compression then give a strong kick. Don't try to kick start with the piston going upward on the compression stroke. Be sure the air cleaner is not dirty and you have good gas. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

If it kicks easily, do a compression test.

How much do you weigh? If you have strong compression, that's what you want.

I have a 1994 buick lesabre and the a/c wont work.the air compresser is good, i put freon in it,no leaks, what else is preventing my compresser from kicking in?

Try a test light on the wire on the compressor if it does not kick on. It should kick on in the a/c positions, as well as the defrost positions. See if someone can help, turning on and off the a/c inside the car ;)

My 1993 Olds 88 wont start cranks but wont kick over. Fuel prob

3.8 are known for ignition trouble but first use the fuel release valve located on top of engine under a screw cap to see if your getting fuel. It takes 4 things to make engine run fuel spark air and compression. But most likely the Ign control module or crank sensor. So try this
1) check the fuel pressure
2) check for spark
3) compression test

Yz 250 wont kickstart

Hi!
You obviously look after your machine and very sensible when laying up, however as you are probably aware 2 strokes rely heavily on compression, A. to produce excellent combustion and B. to draw fuel into the chamber. So when you try kick starting you can't get enough revolutions to draw the correct amount of fuel into the cylinder, where as you push start you constantly turn over the engine increasing compression slightly and bingo it fires.
Can you remember how when kick starting it before this problem the feel on resistance when kicking over? has it now become a lot easier? if so you possibly have worn or broken compression piston rings.
A compression test will reveal this, I hope this sorts your query?
Press the Blue button please for my FREE effort,
Thank You!
