I have looked everywhere for a new power supply with nothing that fits. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement power supply for this computer?

Re: New power supply

Hey, I couldn't track down much info on this one either, . . But i did find these 2 places that are linked to Laconic (Enterprises), one looks lke a 'just starting' website, but nonetheless, it has an email, and contact info, the ebay listing shows a variety of 220W Style PSU's you *might*? be able to check into for a compatible one.

Maybe these will help, if not, feel free to share any more info with me that I can use to help tracking these down for you.

Make sure you have an internal speaker connected. Most new systems no longer include this speaker, but it is handy as it will sometimes beep when the system no go and that can help diagnose problems. Check all internal power cables are correct. RAM is seated correctly, CPU fan is attached. Then check power supply is not faulty

Asus p5nd motherboard won't start when power button is pushed, but the motherboard light stays on..

Most probably your power supply. An SLI rig will draw a lot of power for the graphics and for a power supply in a system like this to have lasted 5 years is amazing. They don't last forever. You could buy a PSU tester (about 10 GBP) and confirm it. But if you have to buy a new one look for one that is at least 25percent more powerful than your old one and has at least a bronze efficiency rating. (silver would be better) and buy one from a known brand such as Antec, Chillmaster, or OCZ.

I am not certain of the exact model but I know where you can find one. has Micro PS3, Mini ITX and serveral other SFF sizes. I found a replacement PS for my Shuttle and it is about the same size as yours.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

Same prob

This problem cannot be solved by anyone but a trained technician.

It will liklely requires one of the following repairs

1) new motherboard
2) new CPU
3) New CPU fan
4) new ATX power supply

This is my honest opinion after 100+ PM repairs personally.

best of luck,

Aopen barebone XC Cube does not start

Due to the fact that the clock is working on the front panel I would say you at least have some power
1. If your power supply has 110/220 selection on the back make sure that is set to the appropriate
2. Check to make sure the power is attached to the board right due to you changing the power supply
make sure that the if the board requires the additional 4 pin and or any others from the power supply
that they also are plugged into the mother board!
3. Check to make sure your switches from the power switch/ reset switch / hd lite / etc are all
properly in the right spot and in the right direction observing positive and negative orientation.

If all these are done and still nothing happens and the fan on the power supply is working you still can due further testing on the power supply using a multimeter and checking that the connectors to the board are functioning properly, if they are and you have done all the above things two possibilities remain, one your processor is installed wrong or not working or as you thought, your board could be malfunctioning..

I forgot to mention that you also have to make sure that the fan's are also plugged into the board properly (cpu fan, case fan, etc) this can also disable your computer from starting!

Note: I am going by the information above, if your computer made a sound or anything else please let me know!

Hope this helps

Powering up issue

Only guess I have is unplug the 4 pin connector from the MB if you used it, I had that problem with an Abit nf7-s, no joy until I found out the extra 4 from a 24 pin is NOT what hooks to the 12V boost connector on the MB when you only have a 20 pin main hook-up.
Sorry if this doesn't help.
