Question about Bugaboo Cameleon Jogger
I had the same problem. They may have forced the brake handle down rather than using the release button on the side. If this is the case, it may be easily fixed.
You need to unscrew the two screws at the side of the brake handle. The black plastic cover should then come off. If you push the release button, the brake handle component should then come away from the stroller bar. Take note of where the brake cable end sits on the component.
You should notice that half the inside cob wheel have segregated teeth and that should fit into their respective gaps. You may notice that some of the teeth are not aligned. ie some of the teeth are in the section that have no gaps. The problem is that the inside cob is stuck. You will need to use a small headed screwdriver to tease the inside component out.
Do this slowly and be careful to not lose the sping that is inside. Once you have the teased it out, replace the spring and cob back but in the appropriate position (aligning the teeth).
Replace the whole component back on the stroller ensuring that the brake cable end is correctly positioned on the component. This may be a little harder with the spring working properly.
Hopefully this should correct the problem!

Wow, incredible....I followed your steps completely...laptop flat on the ground and referred to it frequently (at least 10 times) during the procedure, making sure I understood (not very handy!) and voila...worked like a charm....
My brake is actually working way better than it did when I bought the stroller (3 years ago!)
Your steps were easy to perform and dead acurate...tough to get the cog back in with the spring working properly!
