The timer light is flashing on my sharp cd-sw330 hifi and there is no power . I have ordered a new control as I had lost it . How can I remove the timer light and get the hifi working again

i have the sharp cd-sw330, it has no display and won't turn on but the timer just keeps flashing, i have done the bit it says about pressing the timer button then arrows and memory but that doesn't seem to work help?

This indicates a audio output ic problem. Check speaker wires for shorts, can make all the difference, if okay! the semiconductor will need to be replaced to address this issue.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV.
