Problem for Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 Webcam
No picture when recording
Hi,
I just installed the Lifecam VX-1000 software. During the installation and the setup everything went fine, the audio and the micro part also and during the picture finetuning I saw myself on the monitor. But when I reopened the program after the setup I didn't see any picture just a black frame. When I did a recording and I played it then I saw myself. When I took a picture the result was once again a black frame. What did I do wrong? How can I make it work?

- I have the same problem. Everything fine untill the first start. If I start from My Computer menu, I can see myself and make photo, but can not make video. So I think the problem is in the software or in the driver, not in webcam.- AkosSolution #2

- Is it possible, that my OS langages and the software language not the same, and it makes problem? I can not find software to my language so I use english version.May 19, 2008
- Maybe I have a solution. My sister has an english version of windows (driver also english). And when I installed on her computer everything was fine. So my opinion is the problem was the diffeence languages between my windows and the driver. When I installed on my comp, the driver warned me that the driver is english version. Unfortunetally there's no driver written on my languages. Maybe once.Yes
