Remove the back, there is a wing nut you undo on the lens on each crt.you rotate the lens by
pushing left or right and pull up the menu and
visually rotate the wingnut by watching the menu on the screen by moving the wing nut
left or right.then you also have electrical focus
these 3 focus controls are located by removing
the front speaker cover and are located on the
right side.be careful not to turn the screen
controls that are with the focus controls.and
pull the menu up and adjust each control
individually.
the lens of each crt

yes it is repairable will not be cheap.a tech will have to do the convergence inside the tv,the remote only does so much.i have had 3 in the past and when they get older they become dull,i would not by rear projection any more years going back that was the only choose you had for a big screen ,now lcd and plasma have come down in price i would be looking at that if i was you.

Blue lamp is not in focus

Try adjusting the convergence. If it won't move see below- (or hitting Magic Focus for some Hitachi’s)

This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!

FMA. Need to ask u something about the Sony h5.....

Are you sure you did not activate "Manual Focus"?
Near the shutter button, there's a "Focus" button. maybe you pressed it accidentally and now you're in "Manual Focus" mode.

If so, press it once more to get "Multipoint" mode back to life...

And read the camera manual. It's a goot place to look for this kind of answers.
