HELLO MY FIRELITE WONT LET ME BACK IN I USE IT TO STORE MUSIC FILES AND I PLAY FROM MY CD PLAYERS RIGHT FROM THE SMALL FIRELITE HARD DRIVES I HAVE TWO AND THEN ONE DAY I WANTED TO GO INTO THE DRIVE TO PUT MORE MUSIC AND I NOTICE THAT THE NAME FIRELITE WAS NOT THERE AND THAT THE DRIVE JUST SAID G:\ AND IT'S SAYING THE DRIVE NEEDS TO BE FORMATTED NOW IF I DO THAT I LOSE ALL MY MUSIC FILES AND THAT IS A NO NO IM A DJ

I have the same problem.

Try to get the drive detected on a different computer and if it does the same then try to connect to a mac computer it will be detected then make a backup of the data and reformat the drive. it will be fine, this is a very common issue with flashdrives and external hdd.
try and let me know.

second solution is run a scandisk on this drive letter detected by windows then try doing the same step said above.
