Programming a URC22B universal remote controller (by 10 users)
I have received a URC22B remote controller as a "reward" from Tiscali - but I cannot make head nor tail of the manual ! I regard myself as having reasonable intelligence, but this microtyped manual simply leaves me cold...........
My TV set is a Sony Trinitron KV-28FQ75 U

I cannot find the SET button. There is no way to make it work. I bought this one at $.99 store.

I have same problem a Bush TV/VCR Combo and no code.
Can't get anywhere with auto search.
Happy to buy a cheap remote if anyone can suggest an URC that would work

Turn device on
Press and hold [SET] button, then press and release DEVICE button eg tv, vcr , sat, aux
release [set] point the remote at device and pres [POWER] or [PLAY]
until device turns off or plays
Press [ DEVICE] to lock up the code
check other buttons

with you on that! have tried 6 sensible competant people and 4 different machines it should operate ......still trying.....its christmas day.................
