Question about Computers & Internet
I bought this biostar motherboard. The problem is very interesting. If I put a CPU,Memory,VGA and keyboard, the system boots just fine past the post and show me that no operating system found. If I pout a dvd drive it is still working fine.NOW,when I put a hard drive,IDE or SATA the system past POST but after that just hangs on a blank screen. If I try to go to the BIOS and hit the DEL key,the same thing, just hang on a blank screen. If I turn off the system and remove the HDD and turn on than everything works just fine again. So looks like the motherboard does not want to work with any hard drive.Any help will be good.
I would flash the BIOS, sounds like something is corrupted, if that doesn't work then the blame has to be the HDD, you need to try booting with a different one, maybe a PATA too see if your problem goes away or changes. Any PATA will do, this is only a test.
Another SATA would even be better. Good luck.
