Hi,
Press Display or "info" button on Sony TV Remote, on-screen display will disappear. Please use TV Remote, no other remote will work for that.

Push the main control knob (right side of the unit) either up or down, until the Kenwood's display screen shows "Clk Adj." Press the center of the control knob for about a second to enter the clock-setting mode.

  • 2 Push the main control knob either up or down to set the Kenwood's hour display. Stop when the correct hour shows on the screen.

I can't set the time. I've looked on-line and still can't figure out the step by step instructions. They don't seem to match my watch which is a women's 1440 Sport watch with gray band.

    Hi aausenhus,

You can easily change the time of your Timex watch by following the steps below.

    1. With the time and date showing, press the top left button.

    2. Press the right top button (this sets seconds).

    3. Press the bottom left button. This flashes the hour; press the top right button until you have the correct hour (there is no symbol for am, pm will show if pm).

    4. Press the bottom left button, minutes flash. Press the top right button until correct minutes.

    5. Press the bottom left button, month flashes. Press the top right button until correct.

    6. Press bottom left button, date flashes. Press the top right button until correct.

    7. Press bottom left button, day flashes. Press right top button until correct.

    8. Press bottom left button, time format flashes (can be set to 24 hour clock). If correct, you're done. Press top left button if you're done (can be pressed at any step if you're finished).

To turn off the chime and alarm: Press bottom left until in the alarm screen. Then press the top right button repeatedly until the CHIME or CH symbol is gone and/or ALARM or ALM to disappear, then press the bottom left button to go back to main time.

    Hope it helps.

I want to use the gps and navigator on my nokia 5800, can you please help

I'm assuming you just got the phone recently, in which case it probably has everything you need installed already.
From the home screen, you can click the compass icon in the top left corner. Or from the menu screen (not the applications screen), you can click the compass icon in the middle.
It should then say "ovi Maps" and show you a menu. Don't click anything yet. Click on the spanner icon in the bottom left to bring up the settings, then click on "Internet". Then change Connection to "Offline" unless you want to spend a fortune on mobile internet fees. Then click on Menu to go back to the "ovi Maps" menu.
Now click on "My position" in the top left. It should show you a map, but not of the right place. (You can try zooming out and finding the correct country and location manually if you want, or you can wait for it to work out where you are.)
Make sure the connection icon in the bottom right is crossed out and says 0.0kB, otherwise it will cost you money.
Underneath that is the satellite signal. It will start out flashing one bar. You need to go outside, walk around, and wait a long time before it finds the satellites, then eventually it will find your position. When it knows or remembers your position there is a red dot button in the top left that will make it show your current position.
The nokia 5800 doesn't have a compass (aka magnetometers) so you need to work out which way North is yourself.
Let me know if this doesn't work.
